Nicholas Spencer, Welcomes you.

I began my career as a student at West Nottinghamshire College in Mansfield UK where I studied on the then newly formed B Tech National Diploma course which lasted for two years.  Even whilst busy with my course work I found the time to take on a variety of roles as a walk-on in film and television along with some skin work (costume characters), I was by now finding I had a real passion for acting and decided to ask the college and my tutor if it was possible for them to offer a Higher National Diploma course, my tutor (Paul Caputa) set about planning the course and I talked to other students and persuaded them to complete the course as well. This was a great success and the course was the first at West Nottinghamshire College. This also ran for two years opening the way for new students to learn the trade and show their talent.

I was then asked to join Aurum-Z Theatre Company (Jason Zadrozny) where I helped to produce plays and also build and paint sets, one such play was to be given a place in the Guinness book of records for its achievements of 3 performances, in 2 counties in under 12 hours and 15 minutes.  I was also approached by J B Tannen, a stunt performer and MidlandsDJ and who asked me to help with stunts in film and televison. I was then taken under the wing of John and Steve Caswell, meeting great stunt performers like Ricky Ash, Rob Stone and many more.  I am currently working on these skills and will shortly be joining the stunt register.  I have undertaken many filming projects and appeared in many television programs, meeting people like Philip Gardiner (Reality films, Nucleus Agency). Dap-c, Amy Connolly (X Factor), Ben Rostance, (Darkwood Productions). Paul Philip Johnson, Darren Furniss (August Eleventh Productions).  Tom Hardy (Bronson). Leighton and Lindsay frayne. (Bronson). Mark fish, John Symes of Red sky, all top guys. Yes The Journey Now Begins, working with Philip Gardiner of Reality and Warners.

Through the years there have been many Theatre appearances, stunt performing and walk on parts for film and tv which all helped bring me to where I am now, creating Karkinos Productions along with Chalk Productions. Our Aim is to keep producing our own films and also distribute films made by struggling film makers, who have the talent, but need the distrubution to get the full publicity they need. We provide this service through Warners. Chalk productions has already secured a US DVD distribution deal for its future films through Reality Entertainment and Warner Brothers.
